  3. Get 1 lb beef serloin, cubed
  4. Make ready 2 tbsp butter
  5. Prepare 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  6. Take 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  7. Make ready 1 clove garlic, minced
  8. Take 2 tbsp butter
  9. Prepare 3 tbsp flour
  10. Get 1 tbsp tomato paste
  11. Take 1 1/4 cup beef stock or condensed beef broth
  12. Prepare 1 cup sour cream
  13. Prepare 2 tbsp cooking cherry
  14. Prepare 1 packages egg-noodle, extra-wide

Instructions to make Beef Stroganoff:
  1. Combine 1 tablespoon flour and the salt; dredge meat in mixture.
  2. In large pot, boil water and add egg noodles.
  3. Heat skillet, then add 2 tablespoons butter. When melted, add the serloin strips and brown quickly, flipping meat to brown all sides.
  4. Add mushrooms slices, onion, and garlic; cook 3 or 4 minutes or till onion is barely tender.
  5. Remove the meat and mushrooms from the skillet.
  6. Add 2 tablespoons butter to pan drippings; when melted, blend in 3 tablespoons flour.
  7. Add tomato paste.
  8. Slowly pour in cold meat stock - cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
  9. Return meat and mushrooms to skillet.
  10. Stir in sour cream and sherry; heat briefly.
  11. Drain cooked noodles and add to serving plate. Add stroganoff on top of noodles.
