  1. Get 2-1/2 cups self rising flour more for dusting
  2. Make ready 1 cup evaporated milk
  3. Prepare To taste Lyles Golden Syrup
  4. Get 2 tablespoons butter cubed

Instructions to make Stovetop Biscuits:
  1. Heat a cast iron skillet.
  2. Mash the butter into the flour till it looks like sand. Add milk and mix.
  3. Dust with flour and knead just a bit. Form into 2 inch disc.
  4. Add to the hot skillet and cover, leave space enough to turn the Biscuits over. Let cook 7-8 minutes, on medium heat, and turn.
  5. Cook 3 minutes on second side, covered. This is an old Griswold lid which I heated up before putting on my skillet.
  6. Serve with Lyles Golden Syrup or honey. I hope you enjoy!
