  3. Prepare 3/4 cup masoor daal

  5. Get 1/4 tsp haldi
  6. Prepare 1 tsp salt
  7. Prepare Water as required
  8. Prepare For Tarka :
  9. Prepare 1/2 cup oil
  10. Make ready 1 tsp cumin
  11. Prepare 2 tsp crushed coriander
  12. Get 1 tsp red chilli powder
  13. Prepare 1/2 tsp crushed red chilli flakes
  14. Make ready 3-4 green chillies
  15. Take 3 cloves garlic crushed
  16. Get 1 medium tomato finely cut into cubes

  18. Get 1 glass rice (soaked for 30 minutes)

  20. Make ready 1 tsp salt

  1. Pressure cook the daal for about 8-10 mins, add water as desired and add salt and haldi.

  5. Saute for a minute and add water to it. After a boil, add rice.
  6. Cook on medium flame till the water is absorbed and only bubbles appear.
