  1. Prepare 1 cup rice
  2. Get 2 1/2 cup water for cooking
  3. Take 1 tbsp Ghee
  4. Make ready 1 bay leaf
  5. Prepare 3-4 cloves

  7. Get 1 tsp cumin seeds (zeera)
  8. Get 1 green chilli chopped finely
  9. Take as needed Salt

  1. Wash,clean and soak the 1 cup rice for 30 minutes. Drain the water and spread on a kitchen towel. - - Heat ghee in a pan and add whole spices along with zeera seeds and cinnamon powder.
  2. Once the zeera seeds start spluttering add chopped green chilli and drained rice to the pan. - - Saute the rice in the pan for 2-3 minutes.
