The ingredients needed to make Mexican Horchata (rice drink):
  1. Take 1 cup Rice
  2. Make ready 1 cup sugar
  3. Make ready 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  4. Prepare 1 can evaporated milk
  5. Make ready 5 cup water
  6. Take 1 bunch ice
  7. Make ready 1 dash cinnamon

I can't find where it says otherwise but apparently someone must have made a mistake. Talking about mistakes, Allrecipes edited the recipe I submitted and it doesn't quite makes sense the way it is written now. Horchata is a traditional Mexican drink made up of white rice soaked in water, it's flavored with cinnamon and its sweetened with granulated sugar. Everything is minced up together in a blender and later strained to remove solids.

Instructions to make Mexican Horchata (rice drink):
  1. Let the cup of rice soak in water.
  2. In separate jug, combine evaporated milk, sugar, cinnamon, water, and ice!
  3. Empty water from cup of rice.
  4. In your blender, add rice and a clean cup of water.
  5. Blend well until rice dissolves completely.
  6. Once blended, mix the blended rice with the mixed ingredients.
  7. Stir and serve over ice.
