The ingredients needed to make Meat Loaf:
  1. Prepare 1 lb ground beef
  2. Make ready 1 lb ground pork
  3. Take 2 whole eggs and 1 egg yolk
  4. Prepare 1 tsp kosher salt
  5. Prepare 3/4 tsp black pepper
  6. Make ready 1/4 cup brown sugar
  7. Take 2 clove minced garlic
  8. Prepare 1 cup ketchup
  9. Take 2 tsp mustard
  10. Prepare 1 medium onion minced
  11. Get 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  12. Take 2/3 cup cracker crumbs
  13. Make ready 1/3 cup milk
  14. Prepare 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  15. Take 1/2 tsp basil
  16. Take 1 tbsp hot sauce

Instructions to make Meat Loaf:
  1. Sauté onion with vegtable oil
  2. Add garlic, cook for 30 seconds
  3. Set aside and cool
  4. Mix cracker crumbs and milk
  5. Add hamburger and pork to milk mixture.
  6. Add onion, worcester sauce, mustard, eggs, basil, salt and pepper to mixture. Mix well
  7. Spray foil lined pan with cooking spray.
  8. Add meat mixture to pan.
  9. In small pot add ketchup, brown sugar and hot sauce.
  10. Mix well until sugar is dissolved. Cook cor additional 5 minutes
  11. Place meat under broiler for 5 minutes
  12. Baste meat with sauce and return to broiler for 2 more minutes. Repeat basting 3 more times
  13. Bake in oven for 45 minutes at 350°. Baste with remaining sauce every 15 minutes.
