  1. Take 2 tablespoons butter
  2. Prepare 1/4-1/2 onion, minced
  3. Make ready 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  4. Take 2 cups chopped broccoli
  5. Prepare 1 1/2 shredded mozzarella cheese (I throw in whatever I have)
  6. Get 3 eggs, well beaten
  7. Get 1-1 1/2 cups milk
  8. Get 1 teaspoon salt
  9. Get 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  10. Take 1 tablespoon butter melted
  11. Prepare Baked 9" deep dish crust*
  12. Make ready 1/2 cup cooked, chopped meat* optional

Instructions to make Easy Quiche:
  1. Bake pie shell: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pierce dough all over with fork. Bake until the edges are lightly golden, about 15 minutes. Transfer to wire rack and let cool briefly. Reduce heat to 350 degrees.
  2. FILLING: Over medium-low heat melt butter in a large saucepan. Add onions, garlic and broccoli. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally until the vegetables are soft. Spoon vegetables into crust and sprinkle with cheese. *If adding meat, use approximately 1/2 cup cooked, chopped.
  3. Combine eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in melted butter. Pour egg mixture over vegetables and cheese.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 50 minutes, or until center has set.
