The ingredients needed to make Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng):
  1. Prepare 5 cup rice, cooked
  2. Make ready 3 eggs, beaten
  3. Take 4 clove garlic
  4. Prepare 4 clove shallot
  5. Make ready 3 each fresh red chilies
  6. Take 3 clove candleberry nut (known as indian walnut/kemiri)
  7. Take 1/2 tsp white pepper
  8. Make ready 1 salt
  9. Take 1/2 cup chicken, fried and chopped (optional)
  10. Make ready 5 tbsp cooking oil
  11. Prepare 4 tbsp sweet soya sauce
  12. Make ready 1 cucumber, sliced

Instructions to make Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng):
  1. Grind garlic, shallot, red chilies, and candleberry nut. You can also use blender and add a little cooking oil instead of water. (But grinding the seasoning will improve the taste than blending it, because by grinding them, its oil will come out).
  2. Pour cooking oil into a frying pan and let it heat.
  3. Saute grinded seasoning til it smells good.
  4. Pour beaten eggs into the pan and scramble them.
  5. Add rice and chopped chicken into the pan.
  6. Add salt, white pepper and sweet soya sauce. Mix them well.
  7. Keep mixing them for a while, then it is ready to be served. Best served with sliced cucumber and chips.
