The ingredients needed to make Begedil Daging:
  1. Take 500 gm potato (cut into cubes)
  2. Take 150 gm ground beef
  3. Prepare 1 scallion (cut into cubes)
  4. Get 1 medium carrot (cut into small pieces)
  5. Get Fresh parsley (cut into small pieces)
  6. Take 1 egg
  7. Make ready to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions to make Begedil Daging:
  1. Fry the potato cubes until they turn brown and soft. Remove from oil and let cool. Mash using potato masher.
  2. Heat oil in another pan and cook scallion for a while. And then add ground beef and carrots and cook until the beef is cooked.
  3. Add into the mashed potato and add salt and pepper to taste (I use paprika instead). Add parsley and mix well.
  4. Break one egg in a bowl and scramble it using a fork.
  5. Heat oil in a pan. Form a small ball of the mixed mashed potato and flatten it like a patty and dip into the egg before frying it in a pan with hot oil. Make sure to have a plate ready with kitchen towel to absorb oil.
  6. Carefully flip the patty by making sure the lower side is properly cooked to prevent it from breaking while you flip it.
  7. This can either be eaten hot or cold, as you wish.
